6th gr. Promotion Ceremony Drive-Tru

When: Wed, May 25, 2022 , 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Location: Cafe Parking Lot

- D102 Homeroom (Ms. Maria):    5:30pm 

- D103 Homeroom (Mr. Ujimori/Mrs. Ibanez): 6:00pm

- D104 Homeroom (Mrs. Leleo):  6:30pm

*Where: (For students/families with VEHICLES)

  1. Only ONE personal vehicle will be allowed PER student.  No commercial vehicles will be allowed in.  *Please DISPLAY your child’s Homeroom VEHICLE TAG on your dashboard BEFORE driving on to the school campus- No VEHICLE TAG- No ENTRANCE will be allowed.*

  2. First: Vehicles will ENTER at the Staging Area (Parking Lot near Kamaile Front Office/Flag Pole- *See attached map*)

  3. Second: Vehicles will be directed to drive to the Ceremony Area (Kamaile Cafeteria Parking Lot- *See attached map*)

 

*Where: (For students/families who are WALKING to the school)

  1. Only the STUDENT and TWO  other family members will be allowed on campus if walking in to attend the ceremony.  *Please BRING your child’s Homeroom VEHICLE TAG with you to show Security personnel. This is the only way you’ll be allowed on to the school campus - No VEHICLE TAG-  No ENTRANCE will be allowed.*

  2. School Entrance Directions: During the scheduled Homeroom time, the STUDENT and TWO other family members will enter through the school’s small gate that’s located near the crosswalk.  Once on campus, Security will direct you to turn left and walk behind the cafeteria towards the parking lot.  Then, you will be instructed on where to go for the ceremony. 

 

 

2) Promotion Ceremony dress code for students:

 

a) Girls clothing:

- Aloha attire (dress/top) or other appropriate clothing (no inappropriate designs/language) on it. 

- No spaghetti straps or strapless tops are allowed unless a sweater is used over it. 

- Bottom wear (skirt/dress) must be long enough to pass the middle finger tip when arms are to the side.

 

b) Boys clothing:

- Aloha attire (top) or other appropriate top (no inappropriate designs/language) on it.

- Bottom wear can be dress slacks, nice jeans, or knee length cargo shorts.


3) Important Reminders

  • Only ONE personal vehicle will be allowed PER student.  No commercial vehicles will be allowed. 

  • During the Promotion Ceremony:  All family members must REMAIN in their vehicle and only the STUDENT will be allowed to: 

a) Get out of the vehicle.

b) Walk on to the small stage to receive their certificate/take photos. (During this time, the student’s family will be able to drive up and take a photo of their child while they’re on the stage without anyone blocking their view.)

c) Then walk off the stage to return to their vehicle, and exit the cafeteria parking lot.
